Rockville Chiropractor - Dr. Katherine Kadin

Your Second Visit to Our Rockville Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

On your second visit, Dr. Kat will likely take X-rays to measure your spine and rule out pathology. This visit is brief, not usually more than fifteen minutes. If possible, come dressed in comfortable clothing and avoid items with metal fasteners and embellishments. If you are not able to dress especially for your visit, we have gowns available for you to change into.

If Dr. Kat determines that X-rays are not necessary in your case, she will study your health history and correlate her examination findings. On your third visit, which is your report visit, she’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health.

This three-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Kat, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more Rockville parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
